8400 Drive Package
In the complete Drive Package, motor inverters, gearboxes and motors are perfectly coordinated. The package is characterised by a high level of energy efficiency in all components. Working in parallel with the highly efficient gearboxes and motors, the 8400 motec frequency inverter enables the intelligent adjustment of the magnetising current. The VCF eco (Voltage Frequency Control economic) energy saving function automatically adjusts the motor's magnetising current to operating conditions in the partial load range, thus decreasing energy consumption by up to 30%.

8400 motec – wonderfully simple

The compact motor inverter is particularly suited to simple applications and guarantees a high level of energy efficiency. Devices which can be mounted either on the geared motor or on the wall are available in a power range from 0.37 to 1.5 kW (power extensions to follow).

Thanks to its robust design and high degree of protection (up to IP66), the 8400 motec can be mounted directly on the motor or in its immediate vicinity. This offers a number of key advantages: saving space in the control cabinet, reducing the length of shielded motor cables and quick commissioning via plug-in technology (Plug and Drive).

With the 8400 protec the 8400 frequency inverter platform is extended by a decentralised system. 8400 protec particularly scores with its quick availability. The Plug & Drive principle that is consequently used saves valuable time with regard to the installation, commissioning, and during service.

The decentralised solution offers Safety on board and integrated positioning applications. The two stages StateLine and HighLine that can be functionally scaled from simple to intelligent are provided within a power range from 0.75 to 4.0 kW.
 
8200 motec frequency inverters
IP65 enclosed variable speed drives

With the rugged 8200 motec frequency inverter featuring a high degree of protection and supporting a power range between 0.25 and 7.5 KW, you couldn’t be better equipped for decentralised drive tasks. It can be installed in the ideal location, on the motor or nearby on the machine frame. The power supply is isolated from the drive electronics by means of plug-in contacts. Should service be required, just four screws need to be loosened in order to replace the heatsink and electronics.

Plug-in function modules enable the 8200 motec to be integrated seamlessly into the control and automation world of your machine or plant.
     
 
Decentralised Servo Drives
Decentralised servo technology means that synchronous servo motors are fitted with an integrated servo inverter for low and extra low voltage. Applications for which the new product line Servo Drives 930 fluxxtorque has been developed include packaging, wood processing, warehousing and medical technology.

So for example, limit stops can be reset quickly and precisely in the event of product changes, or food dosed precisely to the gram. In addition to the integrated variant, Lenze can supply the servo controller with IP54 protection for mounting on the machine frame and with IP20 protection for compact installation in control cabinets.

Servo drives can also be positioned outside of control cabinets, directly at the machine processes. This has paved the way for new opportunities in terms of the structure of decentralised system concepts, resulting in significant cost savings.

The Servo Drives 930K fluxxtorque operates in a power range of 120 to 440 W, is extremely precise, quick to install, easy to clean, compact and provides modern fieldbus communication. One of its key advantages is the ability to program and save up to 64 position data sets.

LCU: Decentralised motor controls
The modularly assembled Local Control Unit (LCU) offers many benefits and options for use in conveyor technology. For example, network and field bus cables may be looped through using pluggable bus connections. Because safety issues are becoming more and more important, the necessary safety modules are already integrated into the controls. Motors, sensors, actuators, rotary sensors or Y distributors can be quickly connected with prefabricated and tested cables. Typical LCU application areas are roller conveyors and rotary tables.
CU: Decentralised motor controls
The controls in the Inductive Control Unit (ICU) series operate with inductive energy transmission. The cables laid in the floor provide contactless power transmission. Control signals are transmitted via infrared, wireless or also inductively.

The ICU processes the measurement data during the operation and controls the transportation system by changing the drive motor speed. Position is detected absolutely or incrementally. With the decentralised motor control, various speed profiles and control options can be realised.
OCU: Decentralised motor controls
Due to the high level of automation, the complete monorail overhead conveyor system is inconceivable without innovative controls. They take on the speed control and contactless control of asynchronous motors in rail transportation systems. The Overhead Control Unit (OCU) combines the necessary intelligence and power electronics in a robust housing. The system is designed so that you may also drive several motors with one unit.

Stand alone, totally protected operator station (IP65).

The Command Station (CS) is a stand-alone operator station, which is totally protected against dust and water spray incursion, in an attractive designer housing. The flat enclosure is machined from a solid aluminium block and is fitted with a stainless steel mounting frame at the rear edge, which is intended for support arm mounting or for direct fixing to a wall.

To allow the flexible implementation of individual operator concepts, the system offers numerous options and add on operator consoles, including touch screens, functional and alphanumeric keyboards, operator consoles with switch elements and an emergency stop button or MF2 keyboards in a variety of different versions.

VisiWinNET® by INOSOFT is a consistent, integrated visualisation software platform for generating visualisation applications, e.g. for the classical, machine-oriented operating & observing (HMI), or for complex SCADA systems.
