WOODCRACKER W
The high-performance log splitter is extremely
adaptable due to its many versatile and flexible application and set-up
variations.
Pre-splitting achieves a cost-effective, quick and natural drying of large
logs of wood. Splitting thick logs also makes it possible to use even
small-scale chipping machinery to make woodchip. That significantly
increases the economic efficiency of chipping. The rated opening width of
the Woodcracker® does not determine the splittable diameter. It only
determines the largest final piece.
Woodcracker® W is available in five different sizes.
The equipment allows many different mounting options, so that nothing stands
in the way of fast, efficient work.

On a wood crane
The cracker is ready for operation in just a few
manoeuvres. The wood grip closes on the handle on the Woodcracker®, and the
hydraulic supply lines of the wood grip coupled onto it - tooling time
approx. 3 min.

On an excavator
When mounted rigidly on an excavator, enormous quantities
of wood can be split in the shortest of time. The rotator can optionally be
adapted to other tools using a quick change system.

WOODCRACKER L
Woodcracker® L is, due to its price/performance ratio,
the perfect tool for splitting wood. Versatile set-up variations allow
flexible operation options whilst ensuring cost is kept to a minimum. The
logs can be split effortlessly and quickly.

The clamp diameter of up to 700mm can split even the
thickest logs without any trouble.
|
|
Splitting logs raises the shelf life and heating value of
the wood considerably, as split wood dries more easily than the whole log.
This way, the build up of moisture during storage is avoided.
|

Dried wood provides better emission values at combustion
and burns more efficiently. Consequently, it produces less ash when burnt.

WOODCRACKER R
The rootstock of a tree is attached to the ground
through its roots. The Woodcracker® R is based on the idea that the trunk of
the tree is the most useful material. So, the roots are separated from the
trunk before the tree is removed from the ground and is then processed. The
hole that remains is small and can then be levelled up directly with the
Woodcracker®. In comparison with a clearing rake, the process is much more
soil-friendly.

Because of the constantly growing number of power stations that are powered
by wood chips, there are already regions where the agriculture and forestry
industry are running short of wood as a raw material. So that this trend
biomass energy can be continued, we need to start looking for new sources of
the raw materials. Rootstock is one of these but it has, up until now, taken
on a secondary role. Until now, the rootstock was excavated with a digger
and then broken up with a drawn-out crushing process. With the Woodcracker®
R, this process is made considerably easier. The roots are removed and then
cut into small pieces. The Woodcracker® R can also be used for direct trunk
removal. With this method, only the root core is removed with the rest of
the roots remaining in the ground to maintain the nutrient balance in the
soil. After this process, the split roots are put into a shredder and cut
down to wood chip size.

WOODCRACKER C
Woodcracker® C – the efficient felling tool for
producing wood energy.
WOODCRACKER® C can be mounted quickly and easily onto any standard
excavation vehicle. Through the resulting lower outlay of using a carrier
vehicle, the Woodcracker® C soon pays for itself. Dead or damaged trees
can be very dangerous. Also, the troublesome mountain pine beetle can cause
a lot of damage.
Up until now, the surgery of damaged or diseased trees was a tedious
procedure but now it is easy to effortlessly remove parts of a tree with the
Woodcracker® C.
Surgery of trees alongside streets, motorways or inaccessible areas is very
easy and can contribute in the long run to energy production through wood. |
